Do you have a special application that requires a wind velocity measurement,
but the off-the-shelf sonic anemometers don’t physically fit your application?
Call the ATI factory, we have no problem adapting and tailoring our sonic technology to your application.

The TriSonicaTM Mini Weather Station

For those of you that have not found it yet, the new TriSonicaTM Mini – Weather Station is now available and flying off the shelf.  It may look exactly like the basic model, but the Weather Station adds an accelerometer that also provides a level output, an air-temperature sensor, a humidity sensor, a barometric pressure sensor, and a compass.  Along with all of these, you can also get air density and dew point.  And if you don’t require all of these outputs, just like the first model you can turn "off" or "on" any of the individual outputs.

For those of you interested in the full size TriSonicaTM, our apologies.  It got run over by the demand for the Mini sonics.  We are still working on it, be it slowly, and we still hope to have it available.   If you’re interested, send an e-mail to notify us and we will let you know as soon as it is ready.

Just the Facts about the ATI Ultrasonic Anemometers

If you are looking for an accurate sonic anemometer, the ATI sonic allows you to calibrate your own instrument, any time you want, be it each time you put it out for testing or when you might think it just needs it.  Yes, you can calibrate it yourself; whenever you feel it might be necessary.  You control how accurate you want it by how accurate you do the calibration.  Yes, you don’t have to send the instrument back to the factory to have it calibrated, you can do it yourself, whenever you want.

Did you know that the operator of an ATI Sonic can select the way the output data are formulated, should you want the measurements to be averaged together by selecting ‘Data Averaging’ or you also can use the midpoint measurement by selecting the built in ‘Median Filter’

If you have a storage problem, did you know that the operator of the ATI sonic can strip away any unnecessary characters so all you have in the output are measurement numbers?

Are you someone that would rather have binary output data?  The ATI sonic allows the operator to change the output to binary any time you want.

Some Good Wisdom from Will Rogers

Some of his sayings:

There are two theories to arguing with a woman, neither works.

Never miss a good chance to shut up.

Never squat with your spurs on.

Always drink upstream from the herd.

The quickest way to double your money is to fold it and put it back into your pocket.

Good judgment comes from experience, and a lot of that comes from bad judgment.

Never slap a man who’s chewing tobacco.

Lettin’ the cat outta the bag is a whole lot easier’n puttin’ it back.

After eating an entire bull, a mountain lion felt so good he started roaring.
He kept it up until a hunter came along and shot him.
The moral: When you’re full of bull, keep you mouth shut.

About growing older:

Eventually you will reach a point when you stop lying about your age and start bragging about it.

The older we get, the fewer things seem worth waiting in line for.

When you are dissatisfied and would like to go back to youth, think of Algebra.

You know you are getting old when everything either dries up or leaks.

I don’t know how I got over the hill without getting to the top.

Being young is beautiful, but being old is comfortable.

One must wait until evening to see how splendid the day has been.

One of the many things no one tells you about aging is that it’s such a nice change from being young.

And, finally ~ If you don’t learn to laugh at trouble, you won’t have anything to laugh at when you’re old.
