Flux Measurement

Applied Technologies is a leader in Flux Measurement instrumentation.  We have a complete Flux Measurement System (FMS) available, the 'FluxPack' system that can be completely customized to your needs.  We can also sell you the individual components required for a flux measurement system, including our 'FluxSoft' software package, pre-installed on a high quality computer.

FluxPak is a complete flux measurement package that uses the eddy covariance method and provides for the measurement of fluxes, such as sensible heat flux, momentum flux, and latent heat flux.  The basic system comes with an ultrasonic anemometer, a controller and the FluxSoft software package.  The basic system will provide momentum and sensible heat flux and with a hygrometer added, H2O and latent heat flux can also be made available.

For an eddy co-variance system, the DataPacker/DataLogger can also be used to combine various analog and digital outputs with the ultrasonic anemometer output.

The flux measurement software is a Linux® based software only package designed to accomplish data collection, storage and processing.  The FluxSoft software comes pre-installed and tested on a high quality controller. An individualized computer system can be specified at the time of the order.  Raw data as well as processed flux data can be transmitted and/or stored on the data storage device installed in the system.

An Eddy Co-variance System is designed to measure fluxes in the surrounding air, such as momentum flux, latent heat flux and sensible heat flux. It consists of a Ultrasonic Anemometer and DataPacker/DataLogger to combine various analog and digital outputs with the ultrasonic anemometer, and Flux Measurement Software package. The basic system will provide momentum and sensible heat fluxes, and by adding a hygrometer, H2O and latent heat fluxes can also be made available.
