CATI/2 Solid State Wind Sensor
Applied Technologies, Inc. announces the Solid State Wind Sensor. This sonic anemometer uses the same technology as the scientific, but to a lesser degree. The new Solid State Wind Sensor is a two axis, probe array, designed to mount almost anywhere. The electronics are housed inside the probe base, and a single cable connects the anemometer to your PC. The Solid State Wind Sensor doesn't provide the accuracy and resolution of the Scientific Sonic Anemometer, but it is designed to meet the needs of commercial users, and it is priced in a range that is competitive with other commercial anemometer systems.
